Senior Technical Project Manager — Release Management

Paramount+ is a direct-to-consumer video on-demand and live streaming service available globally with over 79 million paid subscribers.

  • Owned the release process, strategy and delivery across multiple global agile scrum teams for our largest app platform: Roku. With additional experience on Apple, Google and Amazon platforms.
  • Improved market launch date predictability from a three-week variance down to three days by establishing quality goals and fostering trust with our platform partners.
  • Partnered closely with DevOps to ensure proper pipelines, automation and practices were in place to support frictionless builds and branch management.
  • Drove cross-functional alignment and decision-making across workstreams which helped keep releases unblocked and on track with large projects such as Super Bowl '24, UFC, global regional market launches, and converging code bases into a monorepo.
  • Cultivated systematic use of tooling, documentation and automation to clarify release scope and goals.
  • Created custom dashboards and alerts with tools such as New Relic and Conviva to monitor release health and support market issue escalation and triage. Reduced platform crash rate from 3% to 0.1%.
  • Utilized Cursor to automate crash log reviews, root cause analysis, ticketing and suggested fixes for client engineering teams.
  • Acted as partner management liaison with counterparts at Roku and Amazon to align on technical goals and platform feature adoption.

  • Spearheaded the adoption of, trained and established agile processes using tools such as JIRA, ZenHub, Notion and Figma.
  • Oversaw the development and launch of syngspace.com, wearelisten.com and uniphorm.co (along with its companion iOS 3D scanner app utilizing the Standard Cyborg SDK).
  • Streamlined and improved the efficacy of our leads generation process, which allowed us to create proposals more quickly and win leads more frequently.

Product Manager

Blizzard Entertainment is a premier developer and publisher of entertainment software with upwards of 40 million monthly active users.

  • Led the product vision and execution for some of Blizzard's biggest Android and iOS mobile applications: Blizzard Battle.net Mobile, Blizzard Authenticator and BlizzCon Mobile.
  • Fostered Agile methodologies and best practices within a newly formed team using tools like JIRA, Confluence and InVision.
  • Delivered on key performance metrics and business goals such as increasing MAU (0.9M to 1.2M), improving acquisition of desktop users (11% to 16%) and boosting our iOS app rating (3.8 to 4.7 stars).
  • Managed the development of a mobile SDK that helped reduce development time and complexity for integrating authentication services into mobile applications and games.
  • Worked closely with user researchers and data analysts to help better understand user needs and track key business metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Fabric and Tableau.

Senior UX Product Owner

Thales supplies in-flight entertainment and connectivity experiences used by over 274 million passengers a year and delivered to more than 60 airlines around the globe.

  • Managed requirements and product backlogs (using SAFe and Agile methodologies) to deliver custom user interfaces for some of Thales' premier customers: Qatar Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines and JetBlue.
  • Wrote user stories, behavior-driven development specifications and style guides for a scrum team of nine software engineers (Android and Qt) in California and France.
  • Standardized requirement guides (using Confluence), which improved feedback and communication between stakeholders and clients.
  • Redesigned the user flow and experience for a multi-screen environment, which was adopted by seven of the latest customer projects.
  • Established a custom content database development process, which reduced dependencies between teams and increased content iteration frequency.
  • Oversaw a small team that created a working prototype (React Native) for the first in-house survey application to gather and visualize (using Google Data Studio) employee user data during business travel.

Thales

Media Program Manager

  • Managed the in-flight interactive software and monthly media services of five different aircraft types for one of Thales' primary customers, Qatar Airways, between teams in California, London and Qatar.
  • Successfully led the end-to-end rollout of a brand-new, unified UI that provided Qatar Airways with a consistent user experience across their entire Thales-operated fleet.
  • Created the metadata schema and piloted the rollout of a custom content management system for Thales' largest customer content portal.

R&D Hardware Developer — Intern

  • Created a patented (PN: US 2014-0053185 A1) design for an inductive charging cradle, with security monitoring software, for seat-back in-flight entertainment controllers.
  • Designed, prototyped and tested a wireless touchscreen handset, including power management, inductive charging and battery fuel gauges.
  • Coordinated with supply vendors and generated technical evaluation reports for possible components and products to be used in future systems.
